Servings: approximately 6 – ½ C servings
Ingredients:
15 T sugar
9 T water
1½ lbs peaches (nectarines are really yummy too)
2 T lemon juice
1 tsp lightly beaten egg white
Directions:
Cook sugar and water until dissolved. Puree peaches with the water. Transfer 2 cups of peach puree to a bowl and stir in lemon juice. Chill until cold, up to one day. Stir in egg white and freeze in ice cream maker as directed.
